Field Ministry
Sharing in the good news together with the local friends.
Ministry in the city
Most people live in apartment buildings, so you’ll often use intercoms or video intercoms and explain the purpose of the visit quickly. Local brothers and sisters will support you, whether or not you’ve worked such territory before. Some may also preach in parks or share in street witnessing, where conversations happen with Warsaw’s many foreign-language speakers (Ukrainian, English, Spanish, Russian).
Ministry in rural areas
Others preach in villages — trees, fields, narrow roads and homes surrounded by greenery, where residents live at a slower pace. Some will share in cart witnessing; a warm, friendly smile attracts sincere ones passing by.
How to prepare
- In JW Library, download this year’s convention trailer in Polish.
- Practice switching languages on jw.org for those who don’t speak Polish.
- Review “Witnessing Through a Camera or an Intercom” (mwb 20.09 p. 8).
- Learn a simple Polish introduction.
- Wear comfortable shoes — and above all, pray to Jehovah for his spirit and blessing.
Beyond the day with the congregation, share the good news while shopping, in restaurants, on public transport, or at any fine opportunity.
